Description of the activity:

The teacher reads a simple rhyme, pausing to let students guess the next rhyming word by holding up the correct flashcard.


Materials: Rhyme flashcards, simple poem printouts.



Time: 15 minutes


Steps:

1. Introduce pairs of rhyming words.

2. Read a short rhyme and let students guess the missing word.

3. Show the correct flashcard and repeat the word together.
