Topic: Animal Sounds

Performance Indicators:

The student recognizes and names animal sounds (e.g., “It’s a cow!”).

The student responds to sound cues by pointing to the correct animal picture.


Description of the activity:

The teacher will play animal sounds from a speaker. Students will walk around the classroom and point to pictures of animals when they hear the matching sound.


Materials: Animal flashcards, speaker.





Time: 15 minutes


Steps:

1. Introduce the sounds by playing each animal noise and showing the matching card.

2. Play the sounds randomly while students walk and point.

3. End with a fun quiz game to check understanding.
